Random thumbs up: GOOD instant oatmeal

I tried Quaker Oats, Go Lean, organic this and low sugar that but THIS ONE is the best! One packet of instant oatmeal 1-hour before race start is my routine (works on normal non-race days too!) for slow-release, lasting energy!! Mmmmm.

2nd Half Marathon: Superbowl Sunday


This was Clay and I just outpacing 'Grandpa' right behind us.

We finished in 2:21:24, 16 minutes faster that my last half marathon time!

The 1000 or so calorie burn justified us pigging out on junk food the rest of the afternoon while watching the game...!
